DES MOINES, Iowa (Sunday, August 9, 2026) - Nash Roe Media Production Group (NRMPG) learned that today's scheduled repeat episode of Iowa's Food Diary was preempt (cut) due to CW Sports programming coverage of PBR.


We apologize to those viewers who were looking forward to watching Iowa's Food Diary on KCWI today. This preempt comes as part of a contractual agreement between TEGNA, The CW, and syndicators like NRMPG.


Be sure to catch Iowa's Food Diary Season 3, Episode 8: "New Fair Foods 2026" THIS SATURDAY, August 15th at 1:30pm on The CW - KCWI 23.1 and streaming on We Are Iowa+ and On Demand.
