"Iowa's Food Diary" will not air on The CW this Sunday (10/5) due to subsequent CW Sports programming.

DES MOINES / AMES, Iowa (Monday, September 29, 2025) — Local CW affiliate, KCWI-TV, branded as CW Iowa 23, will preempt the upcoming episode of "Iowa's Food Diary" that is set to air at 1:30pm CT on Sunday, October 5, 2025. This is a contractual decision due to CW Sports programming.

Under the Nash Roe Entertainment Media Ventures contract with TEGNA Broadcast Holdings, LLC, "Iowa's Food Diary" is considered a syndicated program. CW Sports programming will cause a preempt (push) of a series, episode, or title from that week's TV broadcast schedule.

At this time, the network and producers have not reached a decision as to if episode 103 (S1/E3) will be distributed on digital platforms until the episode makes its broadcast television debut.
