Des Moines, Iowa (May 21, 2026) - Production on the new NRMPG original documentary, Degree of Flavor wraps next month.


The 13 part documentary documents the life of the students, professors, and instructor throughout an entire semester of culinary school at the Iowa Culinary Institute on DMACC's Ankeny Campus.


Degree of Flavor is set to air this fall on TEGNA-owned CW Iowa 23 and ABC Local 5. Premiere date TBA.



Degree of Flavor is produced by Nash Roe Media Production Group for TEGNA Broadcast Holdings, LLC in association with the Iowa Culinary Institute (ICI) and the Des Moines Area Community College Ankeny.
